Will someone teach me how to surf?

Hi y’all!  I have one of the best jobs in the world: working as a reporter at POLITICO covering federal transportation policy. If the issue involves highways, transit, planes, trains or ports, I’m your go-to girl. Most days I can be found running around the Capitol, recorder in hand, trying to catch lawmakers for a quick quote.

Follow me on Twitter for daily happenings in transpo world.

Don’t worry, I’m not just about serious congressional business. Other cool stuff I’ve produced:

  •  A Washingtonpost.com article about a Bhutanese refugee and his three children adjusting to American life while the family matriarch was forced to stay behind in Nepal.
  • Voting Young: A multimedia group project that peeled back the curtain on what virgin voters were really thinking leading up to the 2012 election (also featured on WaPo.com). I served as managing editor.
  • Multimedia timeline on the history of LGBT rights in the District. (One piece of a three-part project featured on WAMU).
